HOW TO BUY ALT COINS

Step by Step Guide

IOTA

1) This is where you buy IOTA: BINANCE

Setup an account and also security settings like SMS Auth and Google Auth. SMS is a sms sent to your phone. Google Auth is an authenticator you download from google and add Binance site to. It gives you a code to login and withdraw/deposit with for added security.

2) You will need to buy Bitcoin or Ethereum or USDT to have in your wallet on Binance. Once you have this in your Binance wallet you can exchange it for IOTA.

2a) Watch this video on how to buy IOTA using BTC on Binance.

You can then send your purchased IOTA to your IOTA Wallet or leave it on Binance. If you wish to trade I suggest leaving on Binance. IOTA is a difficult wallet to setup and the currency is similar to send so I suggest to leave on Binance for newbies.

3) This is where you get your IOTA Wallet: https://github.com/iotaledger/wallet/releases/

You need a 64 bit Windows, MAC or LINUX operating system to use this wallet. If you do not have 64 bit Windows, just buy at Binance and leave there till you upgrade your pc.

4) During setup, pick light node and choose a host. You can change to a different host later on if you want.

5) Generate an 81 character seed of uppercase letters and the number 9. Print this out and keep safe, without this your IOTA is lost. Do not use words when making your seed. I just did random letters with number 9 spread throughout and then counted that it was 81 characters long.

6) Once you're in your wallet click the receive tab, then the attach to tangle button. Once that's done copy your receive address and then transfer your IOTA from Binance to that address.

7) Copy your receive address from your IOTA Wallet. Go to Binance, click on Funds then Deposits/Withdrawals. Then click on Withdrawals for IOTA and paste the long address into the 'address' section. In the 'label' section type 'wallet' . Click on Max amount to send all your IOTA. (Be careful here and double check everything ensuring the address is correct) if all good, send all IOTA you bought to your IOTA Wallet. It will ask you for sms authentication and/or Email authentication and/or Google authentication to send it.

Other Currencies

This is where you can buy crypto currencies like ETC, XMR, ZEC, BCH, DASH, NEO, TRON, LINK, BNB, XLM, XRP and more: BINANCE

1) Setup an account and also security settings like SMS Auth and Google Auth. SMS is a sms sent to your phone. Google Auth is an authenticator you download from google and add Binance site to. It gives you a code to login and withdraw/deposit with for added security.

2) You will need to buy Bitcoin or Ethereum or USDT to have in your wallet on Binance. Once you have this in your Binance wallet you can exchange it for the crypto you want to buy.

2a) This is how to buy other crypto currencies using BTC on Binance. Follow this video but just swap IOTA for whatever currency you want to purchase.

Binance has many incentives to keep funds with them so you can utilise these to your advantage if you decide to hold long term or you can send your purchased crypto currencies to your Exodus or Coinomi Wallet. If these Wallets do not accept your purchased crypto currency, find another Wallet that will. Not all coins have capable Wallets for use so you may have to leave on the exchange for now if this is the case. Some currencies are more difficult then others to send so if you are unsure what you are doing it is best to just leave on Binance as sending them incorrectly can lose your crypto forever.

3) Open your Wallet, copy your receive Wallet address for that particular coin you purchased, then go to Binance, click on Funds then Deposits/Withdrawals. Then click on Withdrawals for that coin you are sending and paste the long address into the 'address' section. In the 'label' section type 'wallet' . Click on Max amount to send all your coins for that currency, ie. XRP, TRX, XLM etc. (Be careful here and double check everything ensuring the address is correct) if all good, send all you bought to your Wallet. It will ask you for sms authentication and/or Email authentication and/or Google authentication to send it.
